Support
Nanook is free and open source under the MIT License. This page says where to get help: the documentation and the issue tracker cost nothing, and the people who build Nanook can be hired for the rest.
Where to ask
-
Documentation
The Quickstart runs a first table end to end; the guide explains the table types and directives, the API reference documents the modules.
-
Community
Bugs, questions and ideas go to the issue tracker on GitHub. Free, public, and answered when the maintainers find the time; there is no promised response time.
-
Commercial support from xhub.io
Nanook is built by BeeBack UG (xhub.io) in Frankfurt am Main. When a team needs a guaranteed answer, a second pair of eyes on its tables, or code written for its setup, it can hire us.
What we offer
Table review
2–3 days
We read your decision tables and the test cases they produce, and look for missing equivalence classes, contradictions and rows that mean two things. You get the findings in writing.
Integration & development
Scoped after a call
Custom generators, a writer into your database or API, Nanook in your CI pipeline. We estimate the work once we have seen the setup.
Support contract
Answer on the next working day
A named contact and a reply on the next working day (Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00 German time).
Prices on request; they depend on the scope and the setup.
Contact
Torsten Link created Nanook and is your contact for technical questions: write a few lines about your project and what you need. To talk about scope, pricing or a support contract, book a 30-minute call with Patrick Jerominek, managing director of BeeBack UG.
